Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Grounded Labs (“we,” “us”) governing your use of our software, including Printer Purge (the “Software”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on the number of computers (“machines”) covered by your purchase, for your own personal or business use. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, or share the Software or your license keys, and you may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent its licensing except as permitted by law.

2. The Software and Your Equipment

The Software prints ink-coverage (“purge”) sheets to the printers you choose, on a schedule you set, to help keep ink moving through the nozzles. It uses your printers, ink, toner, and paper according to your settings. You are solely responsible for selecting which printers to enable, your schedule and ink-usage settings, and for the cost and condition of your hardware and supplies.

3. Maintenance Aid — No Guarantee

The Software is a maintenance aid that automates regular ink flow, a practice many printer makers recommend. It does not guarantee that printheads will not clog or that existing clogs will be cleared. Clogging and print-quality problems can occur for many reasons outside the control of any software, including ink or toner age, humidity and temperature, dust, paper, hardware faults, firmware, and long periods powered off. Always follow your printer manufacturer’s own maintenance instructions.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL PREVENT OR RESOLVE PRINTER CLOGS.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GROUNDED LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLOGGING, INK, TONER, OR PAPER USE, PRINTER OR EQUIPMENT DAMAGE, DOWNTIME, LOST PROFITS, OR DATA LOSS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT.

6. Updates

We may provide updates or new versions from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued operation. Your license covers free updates within the version you purchased unless stated otherwise at the point of sale.

7. Refunds

Printer Purge includes a 7-day money-back guarantee. If it isn’t right for you, email us within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

8. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Software. We may suspend or terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by sharing license keys). On termination, you must stop using the Software.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute relating to the Software will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date, and the app may ask you to accept the updated Terms.
